Shakti has toured with bands as a
tour chef, cooked in restaurants
in New York, The Bay area, and Maui to name a few. She
has lived abroad and worked as
chef in boutique hotels in both
Yelapa and Quimixto Mexico, as well The Cayman Islands.
Her beloved cooking school, Etta's Kitchen brought joy to many through interactive and fun food and cocktail classes.
Shakti is originally from Third Ward, HTX and
is the chef in residence at Project Row Houses.
Shakti is the former Food & Beverage and Event Director
for The Creek Group, creating some of their most memorable dishes, cocktails and events.
She is also a regular guest chef on KPRC Houston Life.
